A lover of nature and animals, He meditates in Himalayas, far removed from the concerns of the world and yet He cares enough about it to drink the worldly poison. A destroyer and a creator - He performs tandava and lasya in turn. His legendary phallus is a symbol of male fertility and yet as Ardhanarishvara he's also half feminine.
A patron of all performing arts, isn't He the coolest God ever?
